This is the view of the flood at Tanaki/Inobong/Kibambangan Road in Penampang district after about less than 10 hours of heavy rain from yesterday evening. The most affected are the morning students and workers from these kampung who use the only route to go to school nearby and work places. Most could not go to work and was force to go back home in vain. Some was trapped from going in and out since last night and was seen taking a sleep inside their cars. Only those who have 4X4 vehicle and who dare to take the risk of getting their vehicle's interior wet could pass like what you see in the pict.2.
This was not the first time this thing happen. In my acknowledgement, everytime there is a heavy rain, this situation happened. I crossed my finger that this thing won't happen in the near future especially when there's an exam going to be held at school or an expecting mother is going in labor soon and etc.
I hope something concrete is being done by the relevant authority to prevent this situation from happening again.
