Next in our lists, we headed to The War Memorials..
Most of the soldiers were Australians, British and Indian who died during the World War II
Rows of panels where the lists of the solders buried here…

Our next visit on our Family Trip to Ranau, our 5th list, The Kundasang War Memorial.
Actually we've visited this memorable site back in June 2009. So this is just to updated on the site... (with lots of our photos)
One of the first memorials to commemorate the brave Australian and British Prisoners of War (POW) who died in Sandakan and during the infamous death marches to Ranau during World War II. The memorial also remembers the people of North Borneo who risked their lives to help the POWs.
The Memorial is made up of four beautiful gardens – the Australian Garden, the English Garden, the Borneo Garden and the Contemplation Garden and Pool, to represent the different nationalities.

The summit of Mount Kinabalu... on our second day, still covered with thick clouds.
(if not, the view will be awesome)
Taking a short break after a wonderful adventure at the memorial
It's time to go Home.....
